Abstract
Habitat Eden: This project is a collection of ceramics that seeks to bring the garden of Eden back into the home. She believes that God created us to live in the garden not just because of the fruits and animals, but because being surrounded by the beauty of nature is what’s best for our brains. Being around flowers and plants is proven to calm our minds and bodies in ways that are hard to find elsewhere, but most of us don’t really spend much time around these things. Habitat Eden seeks to bridge that gap by creating functional and beautiful pieces that look like plant life, that anyone can use in their home.
Biography
It’s Kylee! (@kyleejbryan) She is a senior BFA Art Education Major. Art is her single greatest passion in life, and children are her greatest calling. She’s a painter, potter, sculptor, and she’ll be student-teaching in the Fall of 2024, after which her husband and her will be moving to a small town and starting a life there.
